Tour Itinerary
Description

After an early breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic journey to explore Kulen National Park, a site steeped in historical and spiritual significance. Located atop Phnom Kulen, one of Cambodia’s sacred mountains, this park is celebrated as the birthplace of the Khmer Empire. In the early ninth century, Jayavarman II declared himself the divine ruler, marking the empire’s founding.

Roughly 50 kilometers from Siem Reap, Kulen National Park is home to Wat Preah Ang Thom, a revered temple featuring a large reclining Buddha, which draws pilgrims during weekends and religious festivals. As you explore, you’ll discover over 1,000 intricate carvings of Yoni and Linga etched into the sandstone riverbed just beneath the water’s surface, symbolizing the sacred nature of the site.

The journey culminates at a picturesque waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip. Your guide will assist in interacting with the local villagers, providing you with an opportunity to taste fresh, local fruits and produce.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s natural beauty before returning to Siem Reap for a leisurely afternoon.
