Immerse yourself in Cambodia’s untouched wilderness and island serenity on this 7-day journey through the Cardamom Mountains and Koh Sdach Island, starting at Cardamom Tented Camp where you’ll trek jungle trails, kayak along peaceful rivers, and learn about vital conservation efforts in one of Southeast Asia’s last great rainforests, before unwinding on Koh Sdach’s crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and charming fishing village atmosphere with snorkeling, island-hopping, and laid-back coastal experiences—perfectly blending adventure and relaxation in Cambodia’s unspoiled natural beauty.
Depart Phnom Penh for Cardamom Tented Camp (240 km / ~4 hrs), a unique eco-lodge set in Botum Sakor National Park. This conservation-focused camp offers nine safari-style tents and immersive jungle experiences.
At 2:00 PM, take a 30-minute boat from Trapeang Rung Resort Pier along the Preak Tachan River to reach the camp. Learn about Wildlife Alliance’s protection efforts, then enjoy activities like trekking, kayaking, or zip-lining.
End the day with sunset views and dinner by the river.

Over these two days, we’ll start each morning with a kayak journey to the old ranger station, venturing into a more secluded part of the forest. Here, we’ll explore the trails before returning to camp for lunch. The entire excursion lasts approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
In the afternoon, enjoy your free time by zip-lining, exploring nearby trails, swimming in our beautiful river, or kayaking along shady tributaries searching for wildlife, such as Pileated Gibbons and Smooth-Coated Otters.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at Cardamom Tented Camp. Early risers can explore nearby jungle trails or enjoy a peaceful morning kayak.
Around 10:00 AM, return by boat to Trapeang Rung, then transfer by private vehicle to Koh Sdach Pier (90 km / ~1.5 hrs). Continue with a short 10-minute local boat ride to Koh Sdach Island, a tranquil island known for its fishing village charm and clear waters ideal for snorkeling and diving.
After hotel check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Unless otherwise agreed, final payment is due as per the invoice no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, payment must be made upon receipt of the invoice. We request timely payment, and it must be received by the date specified on the invoice.

The best time to travel to Cambodia is during the cooler dry season from November to February (moderate temperatures 20°C to 30°C).
March to May are dry but hot (up to 40°C). The rainy season, from June to October (25°C to 35°C) – heavy afternoon and evening rains, also known as the green season – lush landscapes, fewer tourists, and lower travel costs.
