Itinerary

Day 1

Phnom Penh Arrival and City Tour

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon, explore the National Museum, home to Cambodia’s finest collection of ancient artifacts, followed by a visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, showcasing exquisite Khmer architecture and sacred treasures.

As evening approaches, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise along the Mekong River, taking in panoramic skyline views with refreshing drinks.

Day 2

Full-day Phnom Penh Food Tour & Genocide Tour

Begin your day with a half-day Phnom Penh food tour by tuk-tuk, sampling local favorites like Bai Sach Chrouk, Lort Cha, Num Pang, fresh juices, and coffee while exploring Wat Phnom, the French Quarter, and Central Market.

In the afternoon, take a powerful journey into Cambodia’s history with visits to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek, offering deep insight and remembrance of the Khmer Rouge era.

Day 3

Phnom Penh - Battambang

After breakfast, depart Phnom Penh for Battambang (approx. 5 hours, 293 km), enjoying scenic countryside views with photo stops along the way. Visit Kampong Chhnang’s traditional pottery village and Pursat’s marble workshop to experience Cambodia’s rich craft heritage.

Arrive in Battambang and check in to your hotel. In the evening, take a relaxed walking tour of the colonial town, exploring Buddhist temples, French-era architecture, and local street food before dinner at your leisure.

Day 4

Battambang Tour

This morning, ride the iconic Bamboo Train (Norry) along the scenic Sangker River, then visit Wat Slaket Pagoda and local workshops producing prahok and traditional rice paper. Continue to Ek Phnom Temple, an 11th-century ruin beside a large pond and modern Buddha statue.

In the afternoon, explore Phnom Sampeou Mountain, including its caves and somber Khmer Rouge history sites, before witnessing the unforgettable bat exodus at sunset.

Optional: Phare Battambang Circus Show (Mon/Thu/Sat, 7 PM).

Day 5

Battambang - Siem Reap

After breakfast, drive to Siem Reap (approx. 3 hours, 173 km), gateway to the Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, visit Angkor Silk Farm to discover traditional silk-making from mulberry cultivation to weaving, and support local artisans.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Optional evening activities: Cultural walking tour of Old Town or a sunset gondola ride around Angkor Thom moat.

Day 6

Full-day Angkor Tour with Sunrise at Angkor Wat

Start early with sunrise at Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, where golden light illuminates its iconic towers, bas-reliefs, and celestial carvings. Continue with a guided exploration of its intricate architecture before enjoying a light breakfast nearby.

Optional: monk blessing and champagne breakfast in a tranquil Khmer wooden house near Srah Srang.

Explore Angkor Thom, including Bayon Temple with its iconic stone faces, Baphuon, and the Terrace of Elephants, then continue to Ta Prohm, where ancient ruins are engulfed by giant tree roots.

Return to Siem Reap for leisure or optional evening dining experiences.

Day 7

Tonle Sap Lake and Remote Temples

Today, escape the crowds to explore Kampong Khleang, the largest floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Cruise through stilted homes, floating schools, and vibrant waterways while observing daily life along the “Great Lake,” followed by a local picnic lunch in a traditional stilt house.

Continue to Beng Mealea, a jungle-covered “Indiana Jones” style temple, then visit Banteay Srei, famed for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. En route, experience authentic village life at Preah Dak.

Optional: River Monster lecture tour and conservation visit at Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium.

Free day at your leisure - Optional Tours

Enjoy a free day in Siem Reap at your own pace or choose from optional experiences.

Learn authentic Khmer cuisine in a private cooking class at a traditional wooden house, starting with a local market visit before preparing and enjoying your dishes for lunch.

Alternatively, explore hidden Angkor gems by jeep or remork, visiting lesser-known temples like Pre Rup, Eastern Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan.

    What is cancellation policy?

    Cancellations must be made in writing via email and received in a timely manner. Please consider weekends, public holidays, and time zone differences when sending your cancellation.

    The charges outlined below apply unless different or special terms have been specified at the time of quotation or booking via email:

    Charges for partial/total cancellations:

    Individual travelers (Up to 8 persons):

    • 31 days and more before arrival: Non-refundable deposit (if any)
    • Between 30 and 22 days before arrival: Non-refundable deposit or 10% of total tour cost
    • Between 21 and 15 days before arrival: Non-refundable deposit or 25% of total tour cost
    • Between 14 and 8 days before arrival: 50% of total tour cost
    • Between 7 days and 48 hours before arrival: 75% of total tour cost
    • Less than 48 hours or on-site cancellation/shortening: 100% of total tour cost

    Is a deposit required to confirm the tour?

    Our specialists may require deposits in some cases to secure reservations for services such as flights, cruises, hotels, and during certain peak travel periods.

    The need for deposits, along with the applicable amounts and conditions (refundable or non-refundable), will be specified by our specialist on a case-by-case basis during travel planning and quotes.

    How and when is the payment made?

    Unless otherwise agreed, final payment is due as per the invoice no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, payment must be made upon receipt of the invoice. We request timely payment, and it must be received by the date specified on the invoice.

    Payments can be made by:

    • BANK TRANSFER to the bank account mentioned in the invoice. Bank charges must be covered by the agent at the origin.

    What are the requirements going to Cambodia?

    • If you’re entering Cambodia via air, you must complete and submit an electronic e-Arrival Card (CeA) within 7 days before your arrival. There is no charge for this.
    • You need a visa to enter Cambodia. You can apply for an e-visa online or get a tourist visa on arrival. These are valid for 30 days.

    Best time to visit Cambodia

    The best time to travel to Cambodia is during the cooler dry season from November to February (moderate temperatures 20°C to 30°C). 

    March to May are dry but hot (up to 40°C). The rainy season, from June to October (25°C to 35°C) – heavy afternoon and evening rains, also known as the green season – lush landscapes, fewer tourists, and lower travel costs.
